For eating out in Tallinn, there are plenty of options with numerous restaurants and cafés for every taste and budget. While fine dining and slow food restaurants are mostly located in the Old Town, fast-growing and trendy places can mostly be found in Kalamaja, trendy suburban area close to the city centre, not far from Porto Franco. According to Tripadvisor, this is the best restaurant in Tallinn. Rataskaevu 16 has become one of the favourite spots in the Old town both for locals and visitors of Tallinn. Its` delicious food and warm service will imply that each customer is a welcomed guest here! In the summer, a terrace is open, where you can dine and spend time in a relax area sheltered from wind. A reservation is recommended, because the restaurant is quite crowded all the time.

Not far from Citybox hotel, there is Rotermann quarter with several great shops, bars, and also a big cinema complex called Coca Cola Plaza. Härg is located in the renewed Maakri business sub-district and led by a renowned local grill master and his team. Restaurant offers the best quality steaks, meat cooked on low temperature, grilled dishes, healthy salads, freshly squeezed juice, and smoothies. Kivi Paber Käärid means stone, paper, scissors. The beer menu covers several pages and the food there is as tasty as hell, offering also gluten-free and lactose-free options. The place is located in Telliskivi area. Near the restaurant there are several other highly recommended bars and restaurants side by side with little pop-up shops, selling Estonian design goods. When going there, don´t forget to order vegan chocolate cake with raspberries!

If you are hungry and you like pancakes – this is the place to go to. The pancakes here are the size of a portion are guaranteed to fill up even the emptiest of stomachs. Although the place is situated very near to the Old Town Square, all pancakes are still under 6 euros.
