Merkur Bar

You know those small and intense bars they always use in films when they are in need of a statement smoking scene? Well at Merkur Bar you’ll find it. This is Oslo’s hidden pearl, disguised in a side street at St. Hanshaugen. It is one of those places someone usually has to tell you about. Unless they don’t want you to know about it of course. Amongst the beautiful interior from the 30s, inspired by Japanese influences and showcasing original artwork by Kumi Sugai, you can try out some natural wine & sake. Stylish and understated, this is for the eclectic and David-Lynch-vibey crowd (don’t tell them we said that.)
