Vigeland sculpture park

Being the world’s largest sculpture park, this is a must-see! With an early introduction to the Italian Renaissance, Gustav Vigeland eventually found his own inspired but still unique style and has made over 200 large-scale sculptures in granite, bronze, and iron. The sculptures were installed mainly in the period of 1940-1949, but show his life work for over 40 years. All sculptures show a beautiful depiction of humanity. Start at the Fountain, then move towards the Monolith and the Bridge. Free & always open!
